You might have heard by now, but this is quite frankly disturbing for any artist, spread the word of it if you haven't, because chances are your friends haven't either.
Basically, this article says that the US and UK governments are considering passing a bill that makes EVERY SINGLE ARTIST (even you crappy ones who can hardly call your work art) lose the rights to ALL of their work that they have EVER created. Unless you pay a fee to some private organisation to get it a copyright. This means that if the bill/act/law/whatever is passed, anyone will be able to take your art, and make money from it without having to pay you anything and without even having to credit you.
